Actress Sunny Leone has joined hands with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to feed 10,000 migrant workers in Delhi. This meal kit will include lentils – rice, khichdi, and fruits. Talking about this campaign, Sunny Leone said- “We are facing a crisis, but with unity and compassion we will get ahead of it.”
Sunny was named PETA India’s Person of the Year in 2016 and before that, she was featured in the organization’s campaigns for vegan fashion, vegetarian food, and acting in support of dog and cat adoption and sterilization.
Sunny said, “I am happy to join hands with PETA India again. This time we will provide protein-packed vegetarian food to thousands of needy people.” Significantly, the film industry actors are also giving all possible help to deal with the corona epidemic.
